Effects of Cytozyme’s Dry Seed+™ on Nutrient Content, Seedling Vigor and Crop Yield of Corn
3/1/2010
Cytozyme’s Dry Seed+ increased the amounts of copper, iron, manganese and zinc in corn seedlings and significantly increased shoot and root growth, leading to increased yields.

Effects of Cytozyme’s Dry Seed+™ seed treatment on corn seedlings were studied. The results showed that only about half of the micronutrients copper, iron, manganese and zinc found in the seeds were utilized by the seedlings during the first six days of growth. Dry Seed+ treatment increased total amounts of copper, iron, manganese and zinc in the corn seedlings and stimulated seedling vigor illustrated by significant increase of shoot and root mass as compared to non-treated, control seedlings. Stimulatory effect of Dry Seed+ on crop yield is discussed.
