Cytozyme Chosen to Present at the 4th International Conference on Slow- and Controlled-Release and Stabilized Fertilizers Conference in Beijing, China

Beijing, China April 4, 2016—Cytozyme was selected to present at The 4th International Conference on Slow- and Controlled-Release and Stabilized Fertilizers (SCRSFs) held April 4-6th in Beijing, China. The conference was hosted by New Ag International and The International Fertilizer Industry Association (IFA). Cytozyme was one of 30 selected presentations.

This year’s conference focused on SCRSFs and fertilizers stabilized with urease or nitrification inhibitors, economic performance, emerging technologies, and other important topics for China and greater Asia.

Dr. Pawel Wiatrak, Director of Technical Support for Cytozyme, presented a novel sustainable approach to NPK fertilizer management using Cytozyme’s innovative nutrient stabilizer which supports growth of beneficial soil microorganisms involved in nutrient cycle in the soil. This nutrient stabilizer applied with urea or NPK fertilizer helped reduce fertilizer inputs while retaining or increasing crop yields. Wiatrak emphasized that more efficient use of NPK fertilizers leads to higher profit for the grower and benefits environment by reducing soil and water pollution.

“Cytozyme’s mission is to feed the world responsibly,” said Cytozyme’s CEO Eric Baughman. “We are honored that Dr. Wiatrak was chosen to present and share our research results on such an important topic for today’s agriculture needs in Asia and around the world.”

This is Cytozyme’s 8th presentation at a New Ag International Conference in three years. The 4th International Conference on Slow- and Controlled-Release and Stabilized Fertilizers Conference was held a few days prior to the 14th Annual New Ag International Conference & Exhibition. Cytozyme was one of 14 sponsors at The New Ag Conference and was joined there by distribution partners from China and Korea.
