Eric Baughman — CEO

Eric joined the company in 1995 as a production and operations employee, where he gained valuable knowledge of Cytozyme’s core manufacturing and quality assurance processes. In addition to Eric’s responsibilities as CEO, Eric acts in a variety of sales and market development roles and has been responsible for growing Cytozyme’s global business. Eric managed the launch and introduction of Cytozyme’s aquaculture and foliar nutrition product lines and was later promoted to Director – Business Development. Eric succeeded his father as CEO in 2009. In 2012, Eric was awarded Ernst and Young’s “Entrepreneur of The Year Award”, and under his leadership, Cytozyme was recognized by Inc. Magazine’s Top 5,000 Growth Companies in 2013 and 2014 as well as Mountain West Capital’s “100 Fastest Growing Companies” in 2011 and 2012.

David Bitter — Chief Financial Officer

David joined Cytozyme in 2014 with a strong operational and finance background in both large corporate and mid-cap business environments. David’s background includes progressively broader management experience at Ford Motor Company (Finance Manger), AlliedSignal (Finance Director), Honeywell (Business Unit CFO), Black and Decker (Business Unit CFO), and Pacific Consolidated Industries (CFO then CEO). David has a broad understanding of all areas of corporate finance including Treasury, FP&A, Controllership, Investor and Banking Relations, and Operations Finance. David has undergraduate degrees from Brigham Young University in Computer Science, and Statistics. He also earned an MBA from Brigham Young University in Operations and Finance.

Anna Kolliopoulos — Managing Director, Operations

Anna joined Cytozyme in 2019 with a more than 22 years of Managing, Engineering and Consulting experience. She joins us most recently from Vantage Specialty Chemicals as Production and Supply Chain Manager. Since 2016, she has managed well over 100 supply chain, engineers, production and warehouse employees. In 2017, she was honored with the Award of Excellence Leadership after being nominated by the Vantage Leadership Team. Prior to Vantage, she held Managerial, Engineering and Supervisory positions at Fresenius Kabi and Dupont, and owned her own business as an Engineer Consultant for many reputable companies. Anna holds her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Ohio State University and has completed her ISO 9000 Lead Assessor Training.

Elizabeth Wozniak, Ph.D. Biology — Managing Director, R&D

Elizabeth joined Cytozyme in 1981 as a research scientist and became the R&D Director three years later. She has over 25 years of experience in developing agricultural technologies and products, and over 40 years of conducting research in the fields of plant physiology, biochemistry, analytical chemistry, and molecular biology. She received a prestigious award from Minister of Science in Poland for her research on plant adaptation to low temperature. She has extensive understanding of fermentation technology and manufacturing of nutritional products. Elizabeth obtained her M.S. degree and Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Warsaw, Poland and completed the UNESCO sponsored International Training Course in molecular biology, biochemistry, and biophysics.
